Meet Pobs & Moxie!
Naturally curious, children love to connect with and learn from animal characters. To help us on our journey, we are delighted to introduce our monkey friends, Pobs and Moxie. We chose monkeys as we felt that these animals connect naturally to the playfulness of childhood and to the endearing names we sometimes call young children.
Each issue will feature a children's story where Pobs teaches Moxie a mindfulness practice to respond to an issue that arises. Moxie and Pobs are featured throughout the magazine and introduce mindfulness practices, reflections and activities in a fun and engaging way. Pobs offers helpful tips for parents on ways of approaching the activities that encourage and support connection with their children.
Pobs and Moxie are represented as gender-neutral to ensure that our content always remains inclusive.

"I love the way Melanie Viglas and Sara Marlowe have extended the metaphor of the "monkey mind" into this charming magazine, teaching young children and their parents essential skills for managing our tricky minds. The exercises are simply delightful - easy to read and fun to do - with endearing illustrations. I especially appreciate how the exercises engage both parents and children in a shared learning experience. Looking forward to the next issue!"
